Buying Factions...PayPal issues. - Guild Wars Forums

Hello, I'm trying to buy Factions but it seems PlayNC does not support PayPal, and I rather dislike buying from the box and waiting for shipping, so is there any other site that sells keys? legitly, I mean, like I've seen some game sites sell just WoW keys before...so thanks for any help.

I just looked at OFF-gamers and it seems alright, any word on this?

To be honest, I wouldn't dare purchase any keys from companies other than NCsoft or ArenaNet. I have no experience with OFF-gamers, but just be cautious..

You could always purchase a prepaid visa and buy factions via the online store. I'm pretty sure you can get them from any bank. Personally i wouldn't buy a key from a site that offers in-game gold. To me thats only supporting the bots that anet is workin hard to get rid of.

The site you mentioned appears to be a gold selling site. Buying a key from them is just asking for trouble. They are already engaged in shady business activities just by selling gold. You really think they are reputable site?

Where are you located? Can you simply run over to Walmart or Gamestop and pick up a box? If so, that sounds like the best option. No shipping wait and you don't have to deal with credit cards if you don't want to.

If that's not an option, then can you have your parents or a friend buy the game thru the online store and you give them the cash? If you do this then be sure to use only someone you truly trust. Some scammers will buy keys this way, re-sell the keys and then chargeback A-net thus invalidating the keys. (Yet another reason not to buy keys from a shady online site)

I bought from them, took em 3 hours, got key in Email, worked out fine, 10$ cheaper, can't beat that. Sorry if I'm supporting the Gold selling site, but it's PlayNC's fault for not supporting PayPal :P Legit site.

Um.. think about this. You purchased from a gold selling website, which means they also have your key. Did you know that the accounts these kinds of websites use get banned all the time? And what do they do after one of their accounts is banned? Hack someone else's account and use that account to sell their gold. Hell, they could have put something on your computer when you accessed their site. They'll get your email and password, and when you try to talk to support about it, they have your Factions key. What can support do?

All I can say is, good luck.

I'm not some ignorant computer user who knows nothing, I googled about it for a good hour and a half and found reviews of the site over the net from respectable sites that claimed it offered a good service, and I found it acceptable(And I used various tools to ensure my security). There is nothing wrong, it's merely a re-selling company. They buy the box's from a store, photocopy the key and send you the image. If I get banned, I get banned. It'd be retarded if I did anyway.

don't you need a credit card of some type for Paypal?? Just use that for PlayNC or areanet store.
